This onsite Talent Acquisition Specialist role is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and covers full-cycle recruiting across SkyHop Global’s nationwide operations, including field recruiting and travel to multiple markets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full recruitment lifecycle for a variety of roles, from sourcing and screening through offer and onboarding.
  • Develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract candidates for both high-volume and niche roles.
  • Build talent pipelines through networking, referrals, job boards, social media, community partnerships, and direct sourcing.
  • Travel to field locations nationwide to support hiring events, market launches, recruiting initiatives, and staffing needs.
  • Partner closely with operations leaders to understand workforce needs, hiring challenges, and market conditions.
  • Conduct phone screens, interviews, candidate assessments, and provide hiring recommendations.
  • Coordinate and participate in hiring events, job fairs, community outreach activities, and open interview sessions.
  • Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Track recruiting activity, hiring metrics, and pipeline health using the applicant tracking system.
  • Develop creative recruiting strategies for difficult-to-fill and specialized positions in competitive labor markets.
  • Support employer branding initiatives to raise SkyHop Global as an employer of choice.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, company policies, and recruiting best practices.

Requirements

  • Three or more years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including high-volume and niche environments.
  • Experience recruiting for transportation, logistics, aviation, hospitality, operations, field service, or similar industries is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven success sourcing passive candidates and filling difficult-to-fill positions.
  • Strong interviewing, relationship-building, and candidate assessment skills.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management abilities.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems, sourcing platforms, social media recruiting tools, and recruiting technologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50 percent of the time.
