Talent Acquisition Specialist

You will build and execute talent acquisition strategies that connect candidates with roles aligned to business objectives and key results. Location: Union, NJ (hybrid)
Salary: USD 70,000 - 80,000 per year
Experience: 3+ years

How you’ll contribute

• Support the Bank’s “People First” focus and rules of engagement by maintaining a professional demeanor, acting as an active member of the CNOB team, delivering excellent client service, and helping make CNOB “A Better Place to Be.”
• Establish a recruiting strategy to meet staffing needs by determining job requirements for open positions in collaboration with hiring managers.
• Leverage technology, tools, and innovative methodologies to identify, assess, sell, and present candidates for open requisitions.
• Build strong sourcing strategies that create reliable talent pipelines feeding into the CNOB talent community.
• Reduce cycle time for future requisitions by ensuring structured talent pipelines include profiles that meet the CNOB definition of success.
• Serve as a CNOB employment brand ambassador by clearly articulating the CNOB employment value proposition during the talent engagement process.
• Act as a talent sourcing subject matter expert, providing recommendations on innovative sourcing tools and best practices for pilot and/or deployment.

What you’ll bring

• Strong interest in and ability to uphold People First.
• Knowledge of employment and labor laws, including EEOC, ADEA, ERISA, NLRB, ADA, FMLA, and FLSA.
• 3+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience, including candidate sourcing, pre-qualification screening, and interviewing.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Presence, confidence, and communication skills that support effective collaboration at all levels of an organization.
