Job Description
Gensler, a leading name in design and architecture, seeks a seasoned talent acquisition professional to steer recruiting across the Northeast from its New York base. This onsite role focuses on collaborating with studio leadership and the regional team to attract top talent and support the firm’s growth in a competitive market. The compensation for this position is a yearly salary in the range of USD 110,000 - 125,000.
Your Role
As the Regional Talent Acquisition Specialist for the Northeast, you will lead and support recruitment initiatives across the region from New York, ensuring alignment with studio hiring needs. This position emphasizes proactive talent engagement and relationship-building to sustain Gensler’s growth in design-oriented disciplines.
What You Will Do
- Lead and support recruitment efforts across the Northeast Region
- Partner with hiring managers through weekly recruiting meetings to align on evolving studio hiring needs and priorities
- Proactively identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with top industry talent to support Gensler’s growth
- Collaborate with the regional talent acquisition team to evaluate and advance qualified candidates for open roles
- Manage the full-cycle screening process, including conducting phone interviews and assessing candidate fit
- For open requisitions, manage recruiting workflows, including requisition management, candidate dispositioning, and role closure
- Advise Studio Leaders on hiring strategies, including candidate negotiations and offer recommendations
- Contribute to outreach and pipeline development for the Summer Internship Program
- Maintain accurate compensation data and staffing reports to support hiring decisions and workforce planning
- Act as a brand ambassador for Gensler, representing the firm’s values and culture in all candidate and stakeholder interactions
Your Qualifications
- 10+ years of recruiting experience, preferably 5 years within the Architecture and Interior Design industry
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems; Avature CRM experience preferred
- Proven experience sourcing candidates and leveraging industry networks
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Foundational understanding of human resources and recruiting practices
- A positive, engaging presence with a strong sense of humor that contributes to a collaborative team environment
