Talent Acquisition Specialist

R. Poust Heating & Air Conditioning invites you to join our onsite team in Sparta, NJ as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. This role supports the Northern NJ portion of the NY Metro market, collaborating with hiring managers to build high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment. The position offers an hourly rate of $20 to $25 and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, prescription, dental, and vision insurance; disability and term life coverage; a matching 401(k); ongoing training and development; and paid holidays and PTO.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers and local leadership to understand staffing needs and develop tailored recruiting strategies
• Source, screen, and interview candidates for a wide range of field and office roles, ensuring alignment with both role requirements and company culture
• Manage the end-to-end recruiting process—from writing job descriptions to extending offers
• Build strong talent pipelines through hiring events and proactive networking
• Maintain an excellent candidate experience with timely communication and transparency
• Collaborate with HR and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and seamless handoff to local teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
• Proven experience recruiting in a fast-paced environment; experience in skilled trades or service industries is a plus
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a dynamic setting
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools (iCIMS experience preferred)
