Job Description

Transdev in Lombard, IL offers a hybrid Talent Acquisition Specialist role on the Management Talent Acquisition team. You will design and execute recruiting strategies for top management and leadership talent across multiple locations in the United States, serving as a strategic partner to hiring managers and operational leaders. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional candidate and customer experiences throughout the recruitment lifecycle. The position pays USD 8,579 per month and requires a bachelor's degree plus at least three years of relevant recruiting experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers and operational leaders to shape recruiting strategies for management and leadership roles.
  • Act as a strategic talent advisor by delivering market insights, hiring trends, and guidance on candidate selection.
  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer negotiations, and onboarding support.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure an exceptional hiring manager and candidate experience.
  • Source passive and active candidates through multiple channels such as job boards, networking, referrals, social media, and direct outreach.
  • Use the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage requisitions, candidate pipelines, workflow compliance, and recruitment reporting.
  • Provide ATS training and ongoing support to hiring managers and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor candidate movement and ensure timely review and disposition of applicants.
  • Track, analyze, and report recruiting metrics, workforce trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Participate in regular recruitment strategy meetings and share updates on hiring progress and talent market conditions.
  • Support workforce planning and succession planning initiatives.
  • Ensure all recruiting activities comply with EEO, ADA, OFCCP and other applicable laws and regulations.
  • Assist with employer branding and talent attraction efforts to strengthen the organization’s presence in the marketplace.
  • Support special projects, acquisitions, startup operations, and bid-related recruiting as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably for professional, management, or leadership-level talent.
  • Experience supporting multiple hiring managers and locations simultaneously.
  • Solid knowledge of recruiting best practices, sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with ATS, including administration, reporting, and user training.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
  • High sense of urgency and commitment to outstanding customer service.
