Talent Acquisition Specialist
Job Description
Talent Acquisition Specialist supporting the People Attraction Supervisor across Liebherr’s U.S. entities, handling end-to-end recruiting, employer branding, and collaboration with HR to attract and hire talent.
Responsibilities

- Recruit for approved U.S. Liebherr openings across company divisions and operating units.
- Identify and implement efficient recruitment methods aligned with the role, industry norms, and organizational needs.
- Utilize social media and digital channels to highlight employee stories, culture, and career opportunities.
- Maintain the applicant tracking system, review qualifications, refer qualified candidates to managers, and provide hiring recommendations when appropriate.
- Schedule interviews and prepare candidate communications.
- Interview applicants to capture work history, training, education, and job skills; participate in interviews with the hiring team as needed.
- Inform candidates about job duties, compensation, benefits, schedules, working conditions, and advancement opportunities.
- Collaborate with the hiring manager and HR during the offer process and extend job offers.
- Help build brand awareness and promote the value of working for U.S. Liebherr entities.
- Engage potential candidates through social media channels.
- Participate in networking and recruiting events, both virtual and in-person.
- Track, measure, and report on recruiting efforts to inform decision making.
- Support the Shared Services HR Department in HR sponsored events.
- Contribute to recruiting and HR projects of limited complexity in a support capacity.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and company policies.
- Assist with job postings and advertising campaigns.
- Contribute to more complex recruiting and HR projects as needed.
- Recruit for management level positions, including senior roles as applicable.
- Assist with coordinating pre-employment requirements such as background checks, drug screens, and medicals.
- Coordinate with outside staffing agencies to secure temporary employees based on departmental needs.
- Generate recruitment metrics and reports to evaluate the effectiveness of efforts.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to improve recruitment processes.
- Assist with new employee orientation and exit interviews.
- Monitor legislation impacts and support compliance with applicable laws.
- Develop and execute employer branding initiatives aligned with culture, values, and talent strategy.
- Translate the employee value proposition into consistent messaging across recruiting channels.
- Partner with HR and Marketing to align internal culture initiatives with external brand messaging.
- Design candidate communications to improve engagement and transparency.
- Collect candidate feedback and identify opportunities to enhance the recruitment experience.
- Support onboarding and pre-boarding communications to reinforce employer brand messaging.
Requirements
- Level 2: Related bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Level 3: Related bachelor’s degree and 4–7 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
