Talent-Acquisition Recruiter

AllSTEM Connections is seeking a Talent-Acquisition Recruiter to support its aerospace and defense recruiting team in the San Diego area. This temp-to-hire contract position targets a junior-level recruiter with 3 to 6 years of full lifecycle recruiting experience who will partner with hiring managers, candidates, and internal talent acquisition teams to help build a strong pipeline. The role is onsite in San Diego, California, and offers an annual salary between USD 80,000 and 95,000.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple candidate pipelines, maintaining precise records and steady progress through each stage of the recruitment cycle.
• Identify and evaluate candidates for technical and professional roles within aerospace and defense, actively engaging top prospects.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements, craft accurate requisitions, and enable informed hiring decisions.
• Offer guidance to candidates and hiring teams through interviews, offers, and pre-employment steps.
• Design and implement focused sourcing strategies leveraging online platforms, recruiting tools, agencies, and sourcing partners.
• Assist with recruiting metrics, employment advertising, background check coordination, offer processes, and ongoing process-improvement efforts.

Requirements

• Three to six years of recruiting experience.
• Solid understanding of the full recruiting lifecycle.
• Proven ability to collaborate with hiring managers, candidates, and internal talent acquisition teams.
• Onsite work in San Diego is required.
