Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Manager directs recruiting strategy and execution across multiple states and sites, partnering with HR, leadership, and hiring managers to build proactive talent pipelines and deliver a compliant, efficient, and high-quality hiring experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end to end recruiting cycle, from requisition approval and job advertising to sourcing, screening, interview planning, and offers.
  • Partner with HR and hiring leaders across locations to identify workforce patterns and translate insights into sourcing plans, interview approaches, and pipeline targets.
  • Design and standardize recruiting workflows; coach hiring managers and HR teams on interviewing, selection, and compliance; promote best practices across sites.
  • Leverage the ATS to manage requisitions, generate recruitment reports, and analyze funnel metrics, pipeline health, and compensation trends; propose improvements to shorten time to fill and improve quality of hire.
  • Build and nurture talent pipelines to support immediate needs and long term workforce planning.
  • Use labor market data, competitive intelligence, and industry trends to sharpen sourcing strategies and recruiting effectiveness.
  • Plan and coordinate event sponsorships, job fairs, and on site activations to boost employer visibility within target demographics and priority geographies.
  • Develop sources through active and passive recruiting; engage agencies, recruiters, direct messaging, media, and niche sites to attract qualified professionals and maintain relationships.
  • Maintain an innovative social media recruiting approach by staying current with trends, tools, and platforms.
  • Provide training to hiring managers and HR on effective interviewing and hiring practices, ensuring consistency in best practices and compliance across the organization.
  • Assess candidate needs and close candidates; collaborate with HR representatives and hiring managers to present and negotiate complex offers professionally.
  • Ensure an exceptional, inclusive candidate experience; engage active and passive candidates to fill current requisitions and build future pipelines.
  • Maintain EEOC compliance throughout recruitment and hiring processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum five years of recruiting experience managing recruitment across multiple states and locations.
  • Proven track record leading successful social media recruiting campaigns.
  • Ability to travel approximately 15 to 25 percent of the time.

What you bring to Pacific Seafood

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum five years of recruiting experience managing recruitment across multiple states and locations.
  • Experience leading successful social media recruiting campaigns.
  • Ability to travel 15-25 percent of the time as required.
  • Previous recruiting experience in a manufacturing, food production, or distribution environment.
  • Experience using online Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Experience with seasonal hiring.
