Role overview

The Talent Acquisition Manager leads recruitment strategy, workforce pipeline development, and employee career programs to support organizational growth and staffing needs. This role oversees full-cycle talent acquisition, student programs, and career development initiatives, collaborating with leaders to improve hiring outcomes, retention, and workforce planning.

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise recruitment strategy and hiring operations
  • Manage, coach, and develop recruiters and program staff
  • Set performance goals and ensure accountability across the team
  • Oversee requisition management, pipelines, and hiring processes
  • Partner with leaders to align hiring with workforce plans
  • Reduce time-to-fill and improve hiring efficiency
  • Ensure compliant, standardized hiring practices
  • Lead career navigation and employee development initiatives
  • Manage tuition reimbursement, certifications, and education programs
  • Support internal mobility and succession planning efforts
  • Oversee internships, apprenticeships, and student workforce programs
  • Build partnerships with schools and community organizations
  • Drive early talent pipelines and workforce sustainability
  • Track and report on hiring metrics (time-to-fill, vacancies, retention)
  • Use data to improve recruitment strategy and operations
  • Act as a strategic advisor to hiring leaders
  • Enhance candidate and employee experience
  • Support workforce planning and organizational goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required in HR, Business, Healthcare Administration, Education, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or workforce development
  • Minimum 2+ years of people leadership experience (direct supervision required)
  • Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment and hiring operations at scale
  • Experience with ATS/HR systems and recruitment metrics/reporting
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and hiring compliance
  • Master’s degree
  • Healthcare industry experience
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or related certification
