The Talent Acquisition Manager leads recruitment strategy, workforce pipeline development, and employee career programs to support organizational growth and staffing needs. This role oversees full-cycle talent acquisition, student programs, and career development initiatives, collaborating with leaders to improve hiring outcomes, retention, and workforce planning.
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise recruitment strategy and hiring operations
- Manage, coach, and develop recruiters and program staff
- Set performance goals and ensure accountability across the team
- Oversee requisition management, pipelines, and hiring processes
- Partner with leaders to align hiring with workforce plans
- Reduce time-to-fill and improve hiring efficiency
- Ensure compliant, standardized hiring practices
- Lead career navigation and employee development initiatives
- Manage tuition reimbursement, certifications, and education programs
- Support internal mobility and succession planning efforts
- Oversee internships, apprenticeships, and student workforce programs
- Build partnerships with schools and community organizations
- Drive early talent pipelines and workforce sustainability
- Track and report on hiring metrics (time-to-fill, vacancies, retention)
- Use data to improve recruitment strategy and operations
- Act as a strategic advisor to hiring leaders
- Enhance candidate and employee experience
- Support workforce planning and organizational goals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required in HR, Business, Healthcare Administration, Education, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or workforce development
- Minimum 2+ years of people leadership experience (direct supervision required)
- Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment and hiring operations at scale
- Experience with ATS/HR systems and recruitment metrics/reporting
- Strong knowledge of employment law and hiring compliance
- Master’s degree
- Healthcare industry experience
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or related certification
