Job Description
GEM Ambulance is seeking a Talent Acquisition & Client Relations Specialist to blend recruiting expertise with proactive client engagement in a fast-paced environment. This onsite role in Lakewood, New Jersey focuses on end-to-end hiring while strengthening partnerships with client organizations to deliver dependable staffing and high-quality service. The position emphasizes talent sourcing, candidate screening, and hands-on support for new and existing clients to keep operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placing candidates
- Publish and manage job postings across multiple recruiting platforms
- Evaluate applications and conduct phone, video, and in-person interviews
- Coordinate background checks, onboarding, and orientation for new hires
- Represent the company at job fairs and community recruiting events to attract talent
- Track recruiting activity and maintain candidate information within HR systems
- Develop and sustain client relationships within assigned territories
- Deliver presentations and onboarding sessions for new client locations
- Address client inquiries and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues
- Monitor client activity and keep contact information up to date
- Support marketing initiatives, events, and community outreach efforts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience in recruiting, HR, customer service, marketing, or client relations preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and HR/CRM software
- Professional, proactive, and customer-service oriented
