Talent Acquisition and Engagement Specialist
Job Description
The Talent Acquisition and Engagement Specialist at ESI Motion leads recruitment and workforce engagement initiatives, partnering with managers to define staffing needs, guide interview processes, and actively source candidates to strengthen the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain productive partnerships with hiring managers to clearly understand staffing needs and deliver high level service.
- Source candidates through online platforms, social networks, and professional channels.
- Advise interview teams on best practices, including interview techniques, candidate evaluation, and communications aligned with ESI Motion values.
- Manage the end-to-end interview and selection process, including screening calls, assessments, scheduling, and final interviews.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with past applicants and potential candidates, proactively reaching out to passive talent.
- Ensure a smooth, positive, and professional candidate experience from application through offer, onboarding, and beyond.
- Assist in crafting job descriptions and interview questions that reflect departmental hiring needs.
- Develop and implement sourcing and recruitment strategies to attract top talent in line with organizational priorities.
- Support headcount forecasting, workload analysis, and departmental labor distribution reporting.
- Identify hiring trends and opportunities to improve recruitment processes and talent selection.
- Coordinate engagement programs, internal communications, and cultural activities to strengthen company culture and employee connection.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold the organization’s core values.
- Take on additional duties and support broader HR initiatives as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in talent acquisition or related HR functions.
- Proven ability to build talent pipelines and source passive candidates.
- Experience overseeing full-cycle recruiting using diverse interview techniques and assessment methods.
- Familiar with social media recruiting, resume databases, and professional networks.
- Experience recruiting technical or engineering talent is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Strong business acumen with the ability to build cross-functional relationships.
- Understanding of state and federal HR compliance requirements.
- Team-oriented, collaborative, and adaptable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid understanding of the variety of roles within an organization.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
