Security Company Recruiter & Scheduler

Patrol Security and Guard, Inc. is hiring a Security Company Recruiter & Scheduler to support client sites through consistent staffing and fast coverage. In this onsite role in Chatsworth, CA, you will help build and manage a dependable pipeline of security officers while coordinating weekly schedules, onboarding, and rapid shift fills.

This position focuses on end-to-end recruiting and day-to-day scheduling operations, with an emphasis on staying responsive when call-offs or urgent coverage needs come up.

Role Overview

• Recruit, interview, and schedule qualified security guard applicants to ensure posts are staffed appropriately
• Coordinate hiring steps including onboarding and orientation for new officers
• Maintain coverage by filling open shifts, call-offs, and emergency assignments quickly
• Track officer availability, attendance, and time-off requests to support weekly scheduling

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit and interview security guard applicants
• Post job openings and actively source qualified candidates
• Review applications and conduct phone screenings
• Verify Guard Cards and required employment documentation
• Coordinate new-hire onboarding and orientation
• Create and maintain weekly security officer schedules
• Assign officers to client locations based on availability and qualifications
• Quickly fill call-offs, open shifts, and emergency coverage
• Maintain a pool of available and backup security officers
• Communicate schedule changes with officers and supervisors
• Track employee availability, attendance, and time-off requests
• Assist management with staffing needs for new accounts
• Maintain organized employee and recruiting records

Requirements

• 3 years of recruiting experience (required)
• 3 years of scheduling experience (required)
• Experience in recruiting, scheduling, staffing, or the security industry is preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfort with a high volume of calls and consistent applicant follow-up
• Ability to handle last-minute staffing situations
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable and professional work style
• Basic computer skills
• Experience with Indeed or other recruiting platforms is a plus
• Knowledge of the California security industry and Guard Card requirements is a plus

Location, Schedule, and Pay

• Work location: In person (Chatsworth, CA)
• Expected hours: 40.0 per week
• Pay: USD 19.50 - 22.50 per hour
