Recruiting & Operations Manager

SoundCloud is looking for a Recruiting & Operations Manager to support its Talent Acquisition team in a hybrid role based in New York, NY. This position focuses on owning full-cycle recruiting for both technical and business hiring, while strengthening recruiting operations through smarter workflows, ATS discipline, and data-driven reporting. SoundCloud’s approach also centers on embedding diversity, equity, and inclusion across the candidate lifecycle.

What you’ll do

• Own end-to-end recruiting for technical and business roles, partnering from kick-off meetings and sourcing strategies through offer negotiation and onboarding
• Deliver a high-touch candidate experience through clear communication, while building strong relationships with hiring managers to keep stakeholders aligned across the hiring lifecycle
• Maintain operational integrity of the recruiting function by using Greenhouse for interview scheduling, candidate communications, feedback management, scorecard analysis, and reporting
• Champion SoundCloud’s DEI pillars by ensuring inclusive language in job descriptions, auditing sourcing practices for bias, and contributing to employer branding initiatives
• Spot friction points in the hiring process and implement automated workflows to improve team efficiency
• Recommend new tools and technologies that match current team needs and support long-term scaling goals
• Produce and present proactive reporting to leadership covering hiring metrics, headcount tracking, and demographic data to support strategic decision-making
• Operate autonomously across complex workflows, including global hiring coordination, while keeping data accuracy and candidate experience at a high standard
• Continuously evaluate existing recruiting operations to streamline and improve processes over time

What you bring

• 2 to 4+ years of experience in a similar recruiting, operations, or coordination role, preferably within music, streaming, entertainment, or tech
• Proven full-cycle recruiting experience managing technical and business roles
• Experience with Greenhouse (or a similar ATS) for interview scheduling, candidate communication, feedback management, scorecard tracking, and reporting
• Employer branding and talent acquisition experience with a strong focus on DEI and inclusive hiring practices
• Comfort using AI tools and workflows to optimize recruiting processes and improve operational efficiency
• Ability to proactively identify issues, work independently, and make data-backed suggestions to strengthen team performance
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at once
• Must be located in NYC and able to work hybrid in-office
• Experience supporting global teams is a plus

Compensation and location

• Location: New York, NY (hybrid)
• Salary: USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year
• Minimum experience: 2 years
