Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Specialist
Job Description

This onsite Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist role partners with HR to design and refine recruitment processes, attracting staff and volunteers who advance BGCKC’s impact. You will help build equitable, data-informed workforce planning, delivering a professional and inclusive candidate experience across all clubs and locations.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
- Collaborate with HR leadership to design, document, and continuously improve BGCKC’s hiring processes across departments and club locations.
- Develop and implement structured hiring practices, including interview guides, candidate evaluation tools, and consistent workflows.
- Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce time-to-hire, and enhance the candidate experience.
- Ensure recruiting practices align with equitable hiring standards and organizational values.
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and hiring strategies.
- Develop and maintain candidate pipelines for high-volume and recurring roles.
- Assist leadership with initial candidate screenings and structured interviews.
- Develop proactive sourcing strategies through job boards, community partnerships, schools, and professional networks.
- Build relationships with schools, universities, and community organizations to support youth development staffing pipelines.
- Maintain proactive talent pools for future openings and peak hiring seasons.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout recruitment and pre-boarding.
- Foster a professional, inclusive, and mission-aligned candidate experience; communicate timelines and expectations clearly.
- Maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure compliance with employment laws and EEO standards.
- Facilitate background checks, onboarding coordination, and pre-employment processes.
- Support recruitment marketing, job fairs, and community outreach events.
- Provide hiring managers with guidance and training on interview techniques and candidate evaluation.
- Track and analyze recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, pipeline activity, source effectiveness, and offer acceptance rates.
- Provide hiring insights and regular reporting to HR leadership to support data-informed workforce planning.
- Partner with HR leadership to review pay ranges and market data when developing offers to ensure alignment with BGCKC’s compensation philosophy and internal equity.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of recruitment or talent acquisition experience.
- Experience supporting surge and multi-site hiring environments.
- Experience developing recruiting dashboards or hiring reports.
- Strong understanding of full-cycle recruitment processes and best practices.
- Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and community partners.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms; Paycom is a plus.
- Knowledge of employment law and hiring compliance.
- Working knowledge of compensation practices including salary ranges, market benchmarking, and internal equity considerations during hiring.

Hours
Full time, 40 hours per week.
Location
Onsite in Tukwila, Washington. The office is scheduled to relocate to downtown Seattle on August 1, 2026. Details on relocation, parking, and workplace expectations will be provided during the interview process.
Salary
USD 35.00 - 40.00 per hour.
