Job Description
The Corporate Recruiter role at Xcel Energy focuses on consulting, sourcing, and managing full life-cycle recruitment for mid to senior level positions. Based in Denver, this onsite role emphasizes embedding the company brand and Diversity & Inclusion throughout the hiring process.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Build diverse talent pipelines aligned with anticipated needs, guided by business leaders. Engage passively and actively with external audiences through multi-channel outreach to attract candidates to Xcel Energy, while nurturing long-term stakeholder relationships.
- Business Relationships: Develop strong business acumen and cultivate deep relationships with various business areas. Provide consultative input reflecting knowledge of the business and the talent market.
- Recruitment Strategy: Create and execute recruiting strategies and plans. Use data and analytics to measure outcomes and adjust to improve productivity and cost effectiveness.
- Recruitment: Manage full life-cycle recruitment for entry, mid, and senior level roles. Partner with stakeholders, employ sourcing techniques, and define sourcing, service, assessment, and selection timelines to ensure a seamless experience for internal and external customers.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with stakeholders to establish best practices and drive ongoing improvements. Support TA education, knowledge sharing, and coordination of Xcel Energy TA programs, along with other assigned duties.
- Analytics: Leverage data tools and metrics to enhance candidate and hiring leader experience, service standards, and personal performance, adapting strategies to boost productivity and cost efficiency.
Requirements
- BS/BA in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or a combination of education and experience).
- 3–5 years of experience in full cycle recruitment, including direct sourcing and corporate recruitment, with a track record of partnering with business leaders to define talent needs.
- Ability to travel occasionally and commute to events and company locations as needed.
- Experience developing and implementing recruitment plans and strategies with diverse talent pools.
- Prior experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Demonstrated knowledge of EEO and Affirmative Action.
- Knowledge of employment law.
- Demonstrated knowledge of TA metrics and how they influence each level of the recruiting funnel.
