Job Description
Based in Indianapolis, Sodrel Truck Lines is seeking a dedicated Recruiter to join our onsite team. The role focuses on attracting, screening, and hiring qualified candidates across transportation, logistics, maintenance, and operations to support our growing workforce and service reliability.
Responsibilities
- Identify and approach qualified candidates for open roles
- Review applications and screen applicants to assess fit
- Conduct phone interviews to evaluate capabilities and alignment
- Coordinate with hiring managers to align on hiring needs and timelines
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with candidates and stakeholders
- Maintain accurate applicant records and data in the ATS
- Monitor recruiting metrics to measure performance and progress
- Prepare and generate recruitment reports for leadership
- Support onboarding activities for new hires
- Drive recruiting initiatives across the organization
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years in recruiting, staffing, HR, or talent acquisition preferred
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is required
- Tenstreet ATS experience strongly preferred
- Experience recruiting for transportation, logistics, or CDL positions preferred
- Strong communication, interviewing, and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple openings simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other recruiting technologies
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with hiring managers across multiple locations
