Principal Associate, Recruiter
Job Description
Information Technology Senior Management Forum is seeking a Principal Associate, Recruiter to join its McLean, Virginia onsite team. This role centers on full lifecycle recruiting within a design-focused environment, with a strong emphasis on Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging, partnering with hiring leaders to source, assess, and close design talent while elevating the candidate experience.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end recruitment for designated roles, from crafting job descriptions to sourcing, screening, advising on hires, and negotiating offers.
- Proactively source exceptional candidates with a focus on Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging.
- Expand search beyond direct applications by leveraging search engines, career sites, events, and open source tech communities to identify top talent.
- Advise leadership on market trends and more effective strategies to attract and retain high-caliber candidates.
- Assess the difficulty of fills and design the pipeline strategy, including marketing, LinkedIn sourcing, and referrals.
- Collaborate with the hiring manager to monitor progress and adjust approaches to secure the right talent.
- Facilitate interview feedback collection and assist in candidate selection decisions.
- Extend offers and close selected candidates.
- Act as a self-starter who leads change and takes on ad-hoc projects beyond core duties.
- Transition post-offer administrative tasks to the Hiring Logistics Team.
Requirements
- A minimum of three years of experience in recruiting, or three years in human resources, or three years in client consulting.
