Associate Recruiter - TIP/TDP Portfolio School

Join Capital One as an Associate Recruiter on the Students & Grads Talent Acquisition team within the TIP/TDP Portfolio School. This onsite role in McLean, VA supports end-to-end recruiting while helping candidates move through the process with clear, data-driven updates. The position includes a salary range of $81,700 - $93,300 per year and performance-based incentive compensation.

What you’ll do

In this role, you’ll manage full life-cycle recruiting from planning through execution. You will source candidates using innovative techniques, coordinate across stakeholders, and maintain an organized candidate process.

• Own full life-cycle recruitment: planning, sourcing, coordinating, and executing all stages of the process
• Manage candidates with strong organization and attention to detail, while communicating effectively with candidates
• Partner with hiring managers and business group or organization leads, plus key stakeholders, to understand unique talent needs
• Work cross-functionally with a team of high-performing recruiters
• Support business partners on strategic initiatives and hiring strategy
• Use recruiting data to provide proactive status updates and hiring results to leadership and HR partners
• Source beyond direct applications by leveraging search engines, career sites, recruiting events, and other sourcing techniques
• Build relationships with candidates at high volume, understand their interest and passion, and guide them to the right role or opportunity
• Track high-volume candidate data in real-time with precision
• Contribute to ad-hoc recruitment projects

Minimum qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
• At least 1 year of experience in recruiting, human resources, or client consulting, or a combination

Preferred qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in recruiting, human resources, or client consulting, or a combination
• Experience in Campus Recruiting or Programs

Travel and application details

• Travel up to 25% of the time

• McLean, VA: $81,700 - $93,300
• Richmond, VA: $74,200 - $84,700
