Pre-Litigation Attorney

Kisling, Nestico & Redick, LLC is seeking a seasoned Pre-Litigation Attorney to join our Ohio personal injury team. This onsite role in Cincinnati offers the opportunity to manage a large docket in a fast paced, results-driven environment. Responsibilities

• Investigate case facts and build damages evidence to support claims
• Negotiate all aspects of settlements, including lien resolution when appropriate
• Maintain open, positive communication with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and insurance representatives
• Collaborate with teams to advance firm goals
• Supervise support staff to ensure efficient case progression
• Respect reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions

Requirements

• Admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio
• Minimum 2-5 years of plaintiff or defense personal injury practice
• Insurance defense and/or prior claims handling experience is a major advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office required
• Knowledge of Litify case management software preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and overall superior communication and presentation skills
• Superior negotiation skills and ability to work under pressure
