Human Resources Generalist ? Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
Job Description
Paths Management Services LLC is seeking a Human Resources Generalist with a strong emphasis on talent acquisition. The role manages the full recruitment lifecycle for assigned portfolio groups and reports to the Talent Manager and EVP of Human Resources. Based in New York, NY, the position offers a hybrid work arrangement with a compensation range of USD 70,000 to 80,000 annually.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment inquiries to employees and supervisors.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for designated portfolio groups, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer administration through Paycor.
- Administer and maintain the Applicant Tracking System to ensure accurate candidate records, requisitions, and hiring workflows.
- Develop and analyze recruitment reports and hiring metrics to support workforce planning and talent strategies.
- Monitor recruiting activity, job board performance, candidate pipelines, and time-to-fill metrics for the HR team.
- Support internship programs, educational partnerships, community outreach, and recruiting events to strengthen talent pipelines.
- Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding programs, including scheduling and agenda management to ensure a positive onboarding experience.
- Facilitate onboarding processes by ensuring completion and maintenance of required pre-employment and new hire documentation.
- Process employment verifications, reference checks, and unemployment claims in a timely manner.
- Manage relationships with staffing agencies, including contract administration, candidate placements, and assignment tracking.
- Assist with HR projects, audits, reporting initiatives, and other departmental responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Experience with Paycor, Paychex, or other HRIS preferred.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of HR experience with a focus on full-cycle recruiting and talent acquisition.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong sense of urgency with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Working knowledge of employment laws, HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally at all levels of the organization.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with candidates, employees, managers, and external partners.
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple recruiting requisitions and competing priorities.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to reporting and documentation.
