Job Description

OpSource Staffing is hiring an Experienced Skilled Trades Recruiter for a hybrid role in Columbia, SC focused on sourcing and placing industrial and construction talent.

Responsibilities

  • Source, screen, and recruit skilled trades professionals for contract, project-based, and direct hire opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and clients
  • Recruit using job boards, networking, referrals, social media, and direct outreach
  • Conduct interviews and evaluate experience, certifications, and cultural fit
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients and candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Coordinate interviews, offers, onboarding, and start dates
  • Track recruiting activity in ATS/CRM systems
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified talent

Requirements

  • 4+ years of recruiting, staffing, sales, or customer service experience preferred
  • Experience recruiting within skilled trades, construction, manufacturing, industrial staffing, or related industries preferred
  • Familiarity with ATS (Zenople) and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
  • Confident, professional communicator
  • Persistent and proactive with follow-up
  • Goal-oriented and customer-focused
  • Comfortable with high-volume outreach and relationship building
  • Able to manage multiple openings in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of building trust with both field personnel and client leadership
  • Recruiting: 4 years (Required)
  • Skilled trades: 3 years (Preferred)

Location: Hybrid remote in Columbia, SC 29209 (2 days per week in office, remaining days remote)

Compensation: USD 65,000 - 75,000 per year
