Job Description

Employer Recruiter responsible for expanding or introducing Registered Apprenticeship to employers, using networks to open vacancies for Ready, Willing and Able apprentices and drive program goals.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage existing networks to promote Registered Apprenticeship, Pre-Apprenticeship, and standard hiring pathways to employers and open vacancies.
  • Represent Ready, Willing and Able in public forums; design and deliver events and presentations for stakeholders and potential partners to advocate for the program.
  • Identify opportunities for funding and resource support.
  • Contribute to the strategic development of Ready, Willing and Able; collaborate with the team to broaden the program's scope and activities.
  • Ensure program goals are achieved in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Proven history in securing sales with large multinational organizations.
  • Demonstrated operational experience partnering with employers to open vacancies and source talent, with a minimum of five years of documented experience.
  • Applied knowledge of Registered Apprenticeship and Pre-Apprenticeship programs as administered by the U.S. Department of Labor and the California Department of Apprenticeship Services.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws pertaining to the employment of individuals living with a disability.
  • Ability to work well with diverse populations.
  • Strong problem solving skills and flexibility when handling complex issues.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently.

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday

Experience

  • 5 years of experience in Business Development or equivalent recruitment role.

Work Location

  • Hybrid remote in Aliso Viejo, CA 92656
