Driver Recruiter
Job Description
The Driver Recruiter role supports Titanium American Trucking, Inc. in Oakwood, GA by actively promoting the brand and connecting with driving professionals. The incumbent manages the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for prospective drivers, cultivates relationships, and drives onboarding targets.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate strong prospecting and recruitment skills; driver recruitment experience is highly valued
- Minimum 3 years of proven recruiting experience, with special consideration for candidates who have worked in driver recruitment
- Leverage marketing capabilities including social media, campaign creation, and market research to identify qualified candidates
- Recruit, select, and hire professional CDL Class A truck drivers and Owner-Operators
- Ensure a robust pipeline of Company Drivers and Owner-Operators with quality and quantity targets
- Pre-screen all walk-in and phone inquiries from driver applicants
- Interview potential company drivers and owner/operators
- Review applications and verify all required screening information
- Coordinate hiring requirements for the Trucking Operations group with internal teams
- Arrange applicants for required verification assessments, including road testing
- Serve as a primary point of contact for driver-specific matters
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships
- Liaise with the Senior Manager, Driver Development to achieve department goals
- Identify and implement new opportunities for driver engagement
- Act as a self-starter with a preference for exceeding onboarding targets
- Exhibit excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Maintain positive and professional relationships with drivers and team members
- Assist with regular inquiries and information requests
- Collaborate with Operations to understand needs and make informed hiring recommendations
- Promote diversity and inclusivity in recruitment practices
- Operate with standard office equipment and the Microsoft Office suite on Windows
- Adhere to Titanium American Trucking, Inc. service standards and Health & Safety policies
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- 3+ years of proven recruitment experience, with special consideration for driver-focused roles
- Experience in recruitment, selection, and hiring of professional CDL Class A truck drivers and Owner-Operators
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain positive, professional relationships with drivers and team members
- Proficiency with standard office equipment and the Microsoft Office suite on Windows
- Commitment to diversity and inclusivity in hiring
- Self-starter with a drive to meet and exceed onboarding targets
