Director of Talent Acquisition
Job Description
The Bulfinch Group is seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition to lead recruiting strategy and manage the Talent Acquisition team, building a strong and diverse pipeline of Financial Representative candidates in the Greater Boston area.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and develop the Talent Acquisition team, including an Associate Recruiter and Talent Acquisition Coordinator.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive recruiting strategy aligned with the firm’s objectives.
- Enhance the candidate experience through regular communication, streamlined processes, and industry-leading practices.
- Identify and attract Financial Representative candidates through personal networking and relationship-building.
- Source candidates through personal channels, including existing Bulfinch Financial Representatives and staff.
- Source candidates via Centers of Influence and nominators.
- Source candidates through professional and personal networks.
- Engage with candidates through community involvement and observation, and through networking groups.
- Recruit through seminar-based recruiting.
- Source candidates through impersonal channels, including approved social media platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.).
- Utilize college career centers and job fairs to identify talent.
- Leverage advertising and direct mail campaigns to reach potential applicants.
- Access licensed producer lists (Discovery Database, etc.) for candidate outreach.
- Conduct initial screenings and primary interviews.
- Guide candidates through the full recruiting and selection lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate and timely candidate data within Smart Recruiting.
- Participate in weekly recruiting meetings, providing updates, insights, and recommendations.
- Attend recruiting and training conferences or teleconferences and implement new strategies and ideas.

- 5-10+ years of recruitment experience, ideally with leadership responsibilities.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Compensation
Base salary range: $80,000 - $150,000 per year.
Education
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent professional experience.
