Class A Driver Recruiter

Risinger Brothers Transfer is a long-standing transportation provider that operates a fleet of more than 300 semi-trucks and has built a solid reputation over more than forty years. This onsite Driver Recruiter role in Morton, IL focuses on attracting CDL drivers, including Owner Operator and Lease Purchase candidates, and guiding them through onboarding while upholding our hiring standards. The position offers USD 50,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Engage with prospective CDL drivers who have shown interest in joining as Owner Operator or Lease Purchase professionals.
• Maintain an active leads database, primarily sourced through Tenstreet.
• Collaborate with the recruiting administrator to complete background checks, motor vehicle reports, and other verifications to ensure candidates meet hiring standards.
• Schedule and coordinate orientation for new hires.
• Take on additional duties as needed.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Comfort with making a high volume of daily outreach calls to prospective driver applicants.
• At least one year of CDL driver recruiting experience is required.
