Responsibilities
- Greet visitors in person or by phone and route inquiries to the appropriate party
- Assist in developing and updating job descriptions and specifications for job orders and postings
- Source and recruit candidates through internal software, databases, social media, job boards, job fairs, referrals, and other channels
- Screen resumes and applications, scheduling interviews as appropriate
- Conduct interviews using the YES Certified Staffing Process and related selection tools
- Assess qualifications by interviewing applicants, verifying references, and comparing credentials to job requirements
- Evaluate candidates based on knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and aptitudes
- Collaborate with managers and clients to compare job requirements with applicant qualifications
- Fill open positions efficiently and extend employment offers to qualified candidates
- Complete new hire paperwork and pre-screenings, including E-Verify, background checks, drug screens, and skills testing
- Onboard new employees to ensure smooth integration with YES and the client company
- Maintain regular communication with client representatives as the primary point of contact and build strong relationships
- Address placement dissatisfactions by removing the employee and onboarding a quality replacement
- Monitor HR recruiting regulations and best practices
- Promote the company as a premier place to work by requesting reviews and employee referrals
- Actively recruit through inbound calls, mass texts to candidate pools, and assistance to active candidates
- Support recruiting and placement efforts by sharing job details, requirements, interview schedules, onboarding steps, and start dates
- Advocate for both new hires and established employees
- Maintain proper documentation and information storage procedures
- Attend to other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 1-3 years of recruiting or equivalent customer service experience
- Positive, outgoing, can-do attitude
- Coachable and eager to learn
- Team-player mentality
- Close attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to multi-task and perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong decision-making abilities
- Bilingual in Spanish is a must

Working conditions
- Customer-facing role requiring regular in-person attendance
- Support office needs Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm; additional on-site support may be required outside standard hours

- Local travel during the business day; some out-of-area travel may be necessary
- Light physical activity; mostly indoor office work with occasional site visits
- No heavy lifting; occasional exertion up to about 20 lbs
- Good manual dexterity for common office equipment
