Temporary Recruiter

Activus Connect is hiring a remote, temporary recruiter to manage the full recruitment cycle—from screening applicants to extending offers—while ensuring a smooth candidate experience. This position is remote and pays $19.26 per hour. You will work with internal teams to help meet hiring goals and support a positive, efficient process for candidates.

Responsibilities

• Review and screen incoming resumes
• Assess candidates against technical and role-specific requirements
• Conduct virtual interviews
• Issue offer letters and follow up on candidate responses
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure hiring goals are met

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Time management and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Basic Microsoft Excel knowledge
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Basic computer literacy, including understanding components like processors and RAM
• Comfortable navigating computer settings to retrieve system specs

Technical Requirements

• You will need your own computer and high speed internet access that meet the guidelines below
• Desktop or Laptop only; Chromebooks, tablets, iPads, Winbooks, Virtual Machines, etc are not permitted
• Windows 11 or most recent MacOS
• Minimum 4 GB RAM
• Minimum 2 GHz processor
• Hardwired internet with minimum download and upload speeds of 10 Mbps
• WiFi and VPN usage are not permitted during work
• A quiet, private workspace with a clean, professional background is required for video interviews
• Webcam and USB headset with a microphone are required

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior recruiting or interviewing experience in a remote setting
• Familiarity with remote onboarding processes
