Job Description

United Auto Supply is hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist - Warehouse Recruiter for an onsite, automated auto parts distribution center in Syracuse, NY.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain strong working relationships with Warehouse Managers on site and HR/Corporate Office to support appropriate staffing service levels
  • Advertise open warehouse roles to attract qualified applicants
  • Conduct phone screenings and schedule interviews for qualified candidates
  • Manage orientation and onboarding steps for new hires, including coordination with Warehouse leadership and Corporate/HR
  • Support new hire onboarding using the company’s established onboarding procedures, ensuring required forms are accurate and processed on time
  • Attend job fairs and represent United Auto Supply professionally
  • Maintain and update the warehouse staffing roster
  • Build and manage a pool of qualified candidates on an ongoing basis
  • Complete general clerical tasks, including scanning documents containing confidential employee information for processing
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Ability to thrive in a busy, high-volume, deadline-driven team environment
  • Use judgment and flexibility to re-prioritize as needed
  • Proficiency in MS Office; possible ATS system knowledge
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to interact and communicate professionally with employees and coworkers
  • Regular attendance is an essential function of the role
  • Detail-oriented, efficient, and able to take ownership of assigned tasks
  • Comfort working independently and as part of a fast-paced team
  • Ability to interact with a variety of personalities; initiative in an office setting
