Job Description

Hybrid full-cycle Talent Acquisition Specialist role in Wilmington, MA supporting UniFirst's Sales organization, with on-site requirements of two days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to shaping and executing the talent acquisition strategy to attract, source, and hire top talent.
  • Serve as a full-cycle recruiter focused on supporting the Sales organization.
  • Maintain productive relationships with current recruitment vendors and assess new partners as needed.
  • Represent UniFirst as an ambassador internally and externally via networking, social media, conferences, and partnerships.
  • Provide proactive hiring solutions to hiring managers to gain a competitive edge, including coordinating hiring events.
  • Apply strong business acumen and stay informed on recruiting industry trends.
  • Oversee the Applicant Tracking System, including creating requisitions, guiding candidate onboarding, and keeping postings and sponsorship up to date.
  • Support the creation and extension of offer letters.
  • Lead trainings for Hiring Managers on recruiting best practices and compliance.
  • Ensure a first-class candidate experience and advise Hiring Managers to maintain consistency across the organization.
  • Draft and revise job descriptions to clearly define roles, responsibilities, and qualifications.
  • Support other talent-related initiatives and projects.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years in Talent Acquisition or Recruiting.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities to meet employee and business needs.
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills; familiarity with processes and policies.
  • Technology savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems; Taleo is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as an individual contributor and as part of a team.
  • Advanced speaking skills; capable of clearly communicating information and facilitating learning for diverse audiences.
  • Proactive, strategic thinker with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
