Job Description

The Smilist offers a hybrid opportunity in Great Neck, NY, with a $65,000 annual salary. This Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist role focuses on proactive sourcing of passive candidates for clinical roles, including Doctors and Registered Dental Hygenists. You will build pipelines, conduct strategic outreach, and partner with recruiters to ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates.

What you'll do

  • Source and identify passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and other sourcing tools.
  • Build and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Partner closely with recruiters and hiring teams to understand position requirements and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Conduct initial outreach to prospective candidates through email, phone, LinkedIn, and other communication channels.
  • Generate candidate interest and schedule qualified candidates with recruiters.
  • Track sourcing activity and maintain accurate candidate records within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Continuously research new sourcing strategies, talent pools, and market trends.
  • Assist with talent mapping and competitive intelligence initiatives.
  • Support employer branding efforts through candidate engagement and networking.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in talent sourcing, recruiting, or headhunting.
  • Experience sourcing passive candidates is required.
  • Experience sourcing within the dental or healthcare industry is a plus, but not required.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, applicant tracking systems, and other sourcing platforms.
  • Strong research, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
