Talent Acquisition Recruiter
Job Description
Lead end-to-end recruiting for assigned business units as a strategic partner to hiring managers.
Responsibilities
- Own the full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, extending offers, and closing candidates.
- Identify, engage, and assess active and passive candidates using multiple sourcing channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS data, industry conferences, and networking.
- Deliver a high-touch candidate experience from first contact through onboarding support.
- Negotiate complex offers, manage candidate expectations, and ensure alignment with internal compensation policies.
- Use and master an Applicant Tracking System and recruiting technology to drive recruiting execution.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers with market intelligence, compensation data, and recruiting best-practice guidance.
- Run intake meetings to clarify role requirements, business unit objectives, and ideal candidate profiles.
- Create and execute strategic, innovative, and cost-effective sourcing plans to build pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Maintain accurate, timely recruiting reporting and candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Workday.
- Ensure recruiting processes follow federal, state, and local regulations, plus Motorola Solutions internal policies and procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for the Global Talent Acquisition function.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 3+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting.
- Full-cycle recruiting experience in a corporate/in-house environment (preferred).
- Experience recruiting a range of technical and/or corporate roles, including: Software Engineering, Hardware/Electrical Engineering, IT, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product Management (examples listed).
- Experience recruiting within the technology, public safety, or telecommunications industries.
- Experience in a global or matrixed organizational structure.
- Strong understanding of OFCCP and EEO compliance.
- Certification in an assessment tool (example: behavioral interviewing, competency modeling).
- Ability to leverage data and metrics to track recruiting performance and inform strategy.
