Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Recruiter at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL operates in a hybrid work environment to manage recruitment for open roles, attract diverse, high-caliber talent, and support critical positions across departments. The role collaborates with HR and the Talent Acquisition team to design recruitment plans, conduct candidate screening, and analyze data to continuously improve recruitment services.

Responsibilities

  • Manage recruitment for open positions with an emphasis on attracting and hiring diverse, top-tier talent.
  • Collaborate with assigned departments and other HR areas to support critical, difficult, and visible roles.
  • Conduct intake sessions and design and implement effective, creative recruitment plans to meet current and future needs.
  • Provide sourcing support to identify strong candidate pools.
  • Perform candidate phone screenings.
  • Forward top candidates to the hiring manager for consideration.
  • Negotiate salary terms to secure high-caliber talent.
  • Deliver recruitment services in a positive, timely, service-oriented, cost-efficient, and effective manner.
  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Partner to ensure service line recruitment needs are fulfilled strategically and proactively.
  • May partner with the Talent Acquisition Associate Recruiter to provide candidate processing and lead generation support for critical roles.
  • Lead talent engagement strategies including rediscovery campaigns, event participation, sourcing, and social outreach, including college and program engagement.
  • Analyze department and recruiter data and apply critical thinking to recommend solutions to customers.
  • Participate in Talent Acquisition projects and committees, representing the Mayo brand to candidates.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required, or 5 years of recruitment experience (preferably with one year in a hospital setting).
  • Certifications in HR such as PHR, SPHR, GPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, RACR, CPRP, or HCI certifications.
