Job Description

Onsite Talent Acquisition Recruiter role based in Salt Lake City with Dyno Nobel Americas, responsible for sourcing and selecting top talent across Canada and the Great Lakes region of the United States, and providing onboarding guidance to business locations, with bilingual English and French proficiency required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist management with internal and external recruitment activities, including requisition approvals, postings, interviewing, offers, and candidate selection.
  • Ensure fair and equal employment opportunities for all candidates.
  • Conduct proactive, strategic sourcing by leveraging online tools such as LinkedIn and Indeed while meeting key performance metrics.
  • Identify candidate sources and develop and maintain relationships with external sources like job boards, networking sites, and job fair sponsors.
  • Provide coaching and training to employees and management on selection practices, employment law, and other regulatory programs as required.
  • Collaborate with leadership in creating and managing position descriptions.
  • Review resumes to align work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements with open roles.
  • Promote Dyno Nobel as an employer of choice to prospective applicants.
  • Maintain knowledge of organizational structure and changes in Dyno Nobel Americas across all functional areas.
  • Provide recruitment administrative support for ATS and screening tools, among other tasks.
  • Drive continuous improvement across talent acquisition and recruitment processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of full life cycle recruitment experience.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Management or related field preferred but not required.
  • Strong commitment to delivering exceptional service to business stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail and follow-up.
  • Proficient with Applicant Tracking Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Solid knowledge of employment law and training requirements.
  • Strong background in strategic sourcing.
  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player.
