Job Description
ocV!BE is seeking a Talent Acquisition Recruiter to join the onsite team in Anaheim. This part‑time role steers the full recruiting lifecycle, emphasizing thoughtful selection, retention planning, and workforce strategy while supporting both high‑volume part‑time and full‑time positions. The role focuses on building robust pipelines and community relationships to meet current and future hiring needs in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the process for job requisitions from start to finish
- Collaborate with hiring managers to determine the most effective recruitment approach for each role
- Draft and update job descriptions
- Define applicant requirements by analyzing job descriptions
- Source candidates by researching market and labor trends
- Develop targeted marketing campaigns to attract talent
- Review resumes and assess qualifications against job requirements
- Schedule, coordinate, and set up interviews
- Screen and interview applicants via phone, in person, and video
- Coordinate appropriate employment testing
- Extend offers verbally and in writing
- Coordinate background checks, employment verification, and educational verification
- Assist with new hire orientations
- Maintain compliance by understanding current legislation and enforcing regulations with managers
- Recommend new hiring procedures and conduct training as needed
- Run reports and analytics to monitor cost per hire and time to fill
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 2+ years of related work experience
- Preferred experience in the entertainment, sports, or hospitality industry
- Familiarity with human resources management
- Knowledge of ATS and HRIS, with Workday preferred
- Knowledge of the Orange County and surrounding labor market is helpful
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Detail-oriented, motivated, and a self-starter; team player who focuses on relationship building
- Strong business acumen with the ability to quickly assimilate new information and adapt to changing priorities
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Internet and social media savvy
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Good influencing and negotiation abilities
- Proven ability to interact effectively with all organizational levels in a multicultural environment
- Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Ability to build trust and strong relationships
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced setting
