Staffing Recruiter
Job Description
USI Holdings Corporation is seeking a Staffing Recruiter to manage full lifecycle recruitment for the assigned region, with a focus on building robust candidate pipelines across Producer (Insurance Sales), Leadership, and Non-Production roles. This remote position offers a yearly salary range of USD 100,000 to 115,000 and requires at least five years of relevant recruiting experience. The role centers on partnering with managers, both remote and in-person, to identify, attract, and hire top talent across multiple functions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with remote and in-person hiring managers to shape, attract, assess, and hire top talent.
- Directly research and source passive candidates through diverse channels such as internet prospecting, networking, referrals, research, online ads, and database searches to fill open roles.
- Enter job postings, candidate data, requisitions, and notes into the recruitment database or ATS to keep records current.
- Maintain daily activity to meet recruiting goals, including sourcing, outreach, presenting the USI employee value proposition, conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, and guiding candidates through the full process.
- Coordinate candidate testing and evaluations as part of the assessment process.
- Provide debriefs to managers and candidates after interviews.
- Negotiate offers, close candidates, and manage post-close steps.
- Conduct reference checks using automated tools.
- Collaborate with peers to share best practices, ensure consistent employer branding and messaging, and exchange leads and competitive intelligence.
- Monitor and report on key recruiting metrics to track performance.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of full lifecycle recruitment experience in a sales environment, with production-focused roles explicitly required.
- Experience in agency and corporate settings is preferred for non-production roles.
- Strong research and sourcing skills with a proactive approach to cold calling.
- Self-motivated with a high work ethic and a clear sense of urgency.
- Proven ability to manage relationships with hiring managers as clients.
- Effective, proactive communication with confidence, able to partner on staffing needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and administrative skills, including MS Office, Excel-based metrics, and data entry in recruitment software.
- Understanding of broader HR practices and success navigating a highly matrixed organization.
- Insurance or Financial Services recruitment experience is ideal.
- Four-year degree preferred.
- Strong analytical abilities paired with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to interact with all levels within the organization.
- Proven ability to articulate information clearly in both speech and writing.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
