Senior Technical Recruiter
Job Description
Hybrid (Boston HQ) with a Monday–Thursday in-office schedule and Friday work from home. You will own the full recruiting lifecycle for technical roles, partnering closely with engineering and hiring managers while building a candidate experience that is clear, honest, and responsive from first outreach through offer.
As a Senior Technical Recruiter, you will drive end-to-end hiring for positions such as Software Engineering, Data Science/ML, Analytics, and Product Management. The work is data-driven, independent, and focused on hitting both fill and time-to-fill targets, while developing proactive sourcing plans for hard-to-fill talent.
What you’ll do
- Own a full portfolio of technical requisitions end-to-end, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing, while running searches independently.
- Proactively source and map the talent market for hard-to-fill roles by building a qualified pipeline through active outreach to passive candidates.
- Partner with engineering and technical hiring managers as a credible advisor by running intakes, calibrating the bar, and using data to reset searches or shift profiles when needed.
- Develop offer strategy and close competitive candidates by anticipating counteroffers, surfacing hesitations early, and driving the close through to acceptance.
- Use your own funnel metrics to identify where a search is leaking across sourcing, screening, or closing, then adjust strategy accordingly.
- Deliver a consistent candidate experience that remains clear, honest, and responsive from initial contact through offer.
What you bring
- 1–2 years of full-cycle tech recruiting experience, ideally in a fast-paced in-house or agency environment filling engineering or technical roles.
- Working fluency in technical hiring, with the ability to hold credible conversations about Software Engineering, Data Science/ML, Analytics, or Product Management and define what “good” looks like.
- A track record of independently owning requisitions and closing candidates against competing offers.
- Real sourcing capability beyond inbound applicant flow, including comfort finding, engaging, and moving passive technical talent.
- Comfort operating with data by using funnel metrics to prioritize requisitions, diagnose bottlenecks, and defend search strategy.
- Strong organization and judgment under competing demands, with tact to keep both hiring managers and candidates aligned.
Benefits and support
- Full health benefits available (Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA/FSA) on day one for eligible employees.
- No-cost access to 2nd.MD, a virtual expert medical consultation and navigation service.

- 24/7 wellbeing support covering mental, financial, physical, and emotional wellbeing, with enhanced therapy and coaching options.
- Automatic enrollment into Basic Life and Accidental Death & Disability Insurance.
- 401(k) matching with immediate vesting.
- Paid Parental Leave, Surrogacy & Adoption Reimbursement, and Caregiver Services.
- Tuition Reimbursement.
- Wayfair Employee Discount.

- Exclusive access to thousands of perks and discounts through BenefitHub.
