Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist
Job Description
Buxton is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to support technical hiring in a remote setting for at least 06+ months. In this role, you will own full life-cycle recruiting and help deliver high-quality candidates aligned to client hiring needs, while also contributing to how the client brand is advanced across markets.
You will partner closely with hiring managers and candidates to guide the selection process, using a consultative approach that blends creative sourcing, strong recruiting judgment, and attention to compliance. The position is also oriented toward shaping recruiting direction in both the near and long term, with opportunities to strengthen business acumen as you coordinate across the broader recruiting community.
Responsibilities
- Manage full life-cycle recruiting by building strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and the wider community.
- Apply creativity to generate new candidate leads and expand sourcing pipelines.
- Contribute to the near and long-term recruiting vision.
- Increase business acumen to support effective recruiting decision-making.
Requirements
- Demonstrated full-life cycle recruiting expertise, including sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing candidates, and maintaining relationship management throughout the process.
- Strategic recruitment capability, with experience recruiting across a broad and deep range of roles across multiple locations, with a focus on national and multi-location hiring.
- Proven collaboration and partnership skills, partnering with hiring teams to develop recruiting strategies, sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches, with an emphasis on managing customer and partner expectations.
- Organizational and documentation strength, including maintaining accurate, well-ordered documentation in an applicant tracking system for candidates, searches, hiring manager interactions, and recruiting activities.
- Strong understanding of and ability to comply with recruiting and talent acquisition processes and procedures, including Department of Defense (DOD) regulations.
- Prior experience recruiting Contract Administrators for DOD or similar organizations, with familiarity with unique role requirements and regulations.
Skills Preferred
- Familiarity with BrassRing Kenexa Applicant Tracking System.
- Familiarity with Phenom Candidate Relationship Management (CRM).
- Familiarity with Paradox.
Location: Remote (remote). Compensation: USD 48 - 49 per hourly. Minimum experience: 6 years. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
