Job Description

Senior Campus Recruiter role based in Hackensack, NJ (hybrid), responsible for developing and executing campus recruiting strategy across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive the campus recruiting strategy for designated universities across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region
  • Cultivate strong partnerships with career services, faculty, and student organizations, including accounting societies and affinity groups
  • Create campus-specific engagement plans with events, partnerships, and outreach programs
  • Identify opportunities to expand presence and raise brand awareness on target campuses
  • Represent Aprio at career fairs, networking events, information sessions, and student organization activities
  • Travel extensively during recruiting season to support on-site campus activities
  • Deliver presentations, lead discussions with students, and serve as a visible brand ambassador
  • Collaborate with firm leaders and staff to ensure consistent campus messaging and presence
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of intern and entry-level candidates from initial engagement through offer
  • Screen, evaluate, and advance candidates in partnership with hiring teams
  • Maintain accurate candidate tracking, collect feedback, and generate pipeline reporting
  • Drive timely decision-making aligned with hiring goals and timelines
  • Coordinate and facilitate interviews, both on campus and virtual
  • Gather feedback from interviewers and synthesize recommendations
  • Support offer decisions and candidate selection discussions with a high-quality evaluation process
  • Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience from first touch to offer acceptance
  • Lead timely follow-up communications and personalized engagement strategies with candidates
  • Guide candidates through the offer process, driving acceptance and ongoing engagement
  • Maintain relationships with candidates post-offer to support yield and retention
  • Contribute to broader early talent programs, including internships, mentorships, and campus ambassadors
  • Support recruiting-related projects, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Partner cross-functionally with HR, Talent Development, and office leadership on hiring needs and workforce planning
  • Assist with event planning, program execution, and recruiting operations as needed

Requirements

  • 3+ years of campus recruiting experience (required)
  • Proven track record in managing full-cycle campus recruiting and university relationships
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently during recruiting seasons
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple campuses, timelines, and priorities
