Recruiting Specialist

Visiting Angels Home Health Care offers an onsite Recruiting Specialist role in Matawan, New Jersey, with an annual salary of $42,500. This position focuses on sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified licensed caregivers (CHHAs) to meet client needs while ensuring compliance with New Jersey BON and CAHC standards. Reports flow to the Company Directors and the Executive Director. Responsibilities

• Oversee end to end recruitment for home care professionals (CHHAs)
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and community outreach, plus company advertising
• Conduct phone screens, interviews, and in person new hire orientations
• Verify New Jersey state requirements for home care employment, including CHHA certification checks, background screenings, and necessary documentation
• Support onboarding with document collection, orientation scheduling, and compliance tracking
• Maintain accurate and up to date applicant tracking records
• Collaborate with the scheduling team to forecast staffing needs and new hire availability
• Build and sustain a pipeline of qualified candidates to meet ongoing staffing needs and company growth
• Represent the company professionally to ensure a positive candidate experience

Requirements

• 2+ years of recruiting experience, with healthcare or home care preferred
• Familiarity with New Jersey home care regulations and CHHA requirements is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet hiring goals
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and social media platforms
• High level of organization and attention to detail
• Maintain good physical and mental health
• U.S. Citizen or evidence of valid Alien Work Permit
