HR Recruiter

Serenity Home Health Care is hiring an HR Recruiter to oversee full-cycle recruiting for multiple roles and departments. This onsite position in Niles, IL focuses on sourcing, screening, interviewing coordination, and candidate guidance while partnering with hiring managers to support timely, efficient hiring.

Role Overview

The HR Recruiter will manage the recruiting workflow from job posting through offer acceptance. Working closely with hiring managers, the role will help define role requirements and hiring timelines, then execute outreach and candidate coordination to ensure a consistent, professional experience for applicants.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end recruitment process from job posting to offer acceptance.
• Partner with hiring managers to establish role requirements, competencies, and hiring timelines.
• Create and publish job descriptions across job boards, social media, and internal platforms.
• Source candidates through multiple channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and networking.
• Conduct initial phone screens and coordinate interviews with hiring teams.
• Facilitate interview debriefs and support hiring managers with decision-making.
• Prepare and extend job offers and coordinate background checks and pre-employment steps.
• Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Ensure applicants receive a positive, professional, and timely recruitment experience.
• Represent the company brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Maintain accurate and organized candidate records in the ATS.
• Track and report recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, pipeline activity, and source effectiveness.
• Support employer branding and recruitment marketing efforts.
• Participate in career fairs, networking events, and community outreach as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience; corporate or agency experience welcome.
• Strong sourcing skills with familiarity in using ATS platforms.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and deadlines simultaneously.
• Knowledge of employment laws and recruiting best practices.

Location, Schedule, and Employment Type

• Location: Niles, IL (onsite)
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (40 hours)
