The Recruiting Manager at May Trucking Company leads a team of Recruiting Specialists focused on truck driver recruitment, onboarding, and building a reliable candidate pipeline to support company growth. Overview

The Driver Recruiting Manager oversees the end-to-end recruitment and hiring of truck drivers, with emphasis on streamlining application workflows, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and sustaining a robust pool of qualified drivers to drive business expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Recruiting Specialists to meet hiring objectives.
  • Oversee the full recruitment and onboarding process for truck drivers, ensuring timely processing and accurate documentation.
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract, screen, and hire qualified truck drivers.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics, assess team performance, and drive process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, internal policies, and employment laws.
  • Drive initiatives to improve the candidate experience and reinforce employer branding in the trucking industry.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to align recruiting efforts with broader organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience, including 2+ years managing a team.
  • Strong knowledge of multi-state laws and FMCSA regulations.
  • Proven experience managing high-volume recruitment and processing workflows.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting analytics.

Salary

$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
