Recruiter (Temp)

Tyler Technologies is looking for a temporary Recruiter to join its Talent Acquisition team in Troy, MI (onsite). In this role, you will help fill corporate positions primarily in Marketing, Finance, and IT, using a full-cycle approach that spans sourcing through interviews, offers, and ongoing pipeline building.

Working with hiring managers and candidates, you will manage recruiting activity end to end while supporting campus recruiting and strengthening Tyler’s employment brand in the process.

What you will do

• Own the full life cycle of recruiting, from search strategy to offer presentation.
• Qualify job requirements and build the recruiting approach based on deep knowledge of business needs and the broader talent market.
• Use recruiting and HR technology tools effectively, including the ATS (Jobvite) and HRIS (UKG).
• Ensure timely communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the process.
• Review applicants and proactively source candidates through databases, social media, networking events, and other sources.
• Conduct in-depth interviews to assess candidate fit.
• Present offers and explain and negotiate compensation packages and start dates.
• Support on-campus recruiting activities including career fairs, campus presentations, on campus interviews, and networking events.
• Serve as an ambassador for the employment brand through Always Be Recruiting!
• Help drive the employee referral program through Everyone is a Recruiter!
• Educate candidates about Tyler Technologies, including culture, benefits, and organizational expectations.
• Develop and nurture pipelines of qualified candidates to meet current and future business needs.

What you bring

• 3+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience.
• At least 2 years of corporate recruiting experience working with senior level hiring managers.
• Strong prioritization and customer service skills.
• Passion for identifying and hiring high caliber talent.
• Positive, collaborative approach with a strong work ethic and integrity.
• Natural sense of urgency and focus on results.
• Ability to interface professionally with all levels of management and leadership.
• Experience with recruiting tools and systems; Jobvite experience is a huge plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience prioritizing and managing multiple openings.
• Track record of success sourcing and engaging high-caliber, passive talent.

• Compensation: USD 65,000 - 108,638 per year
