Job Description

Homes for Independent Living of Wisconsin LLC offers a hybrid role in Brookfield, WI for a Recruiter II in Talent Acquisition. This position focuses on recruiting Direct Support Professionals, Direct Support Supervisors and other roles, managing the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to placement. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement creative, effective recruitment strategies using a mix of channels and resources.
  • Adapt quickly to changing hiring needs to fill positions efficiently.
  • Actively engage job boards, career fairs, open houses, networking, advertising, and outreach to attract talent and strengthen branding.
  • Screen applicants and determine next steps based on experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and the job description.
  • Conduct interviews, coordinate with hiring managers to present top candidates, and track progress through the recruitment process.
  • Communicate effectively with regional teams about candidates, openings, and sourcing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of talent.
  • Maintain professional conduct and confidentiality in all verbal and written communications.
  • Stay current on trends in recruiting and related areas.
  • Willing to work in the office 2-3 days per week and travel to events as needed.

Requirements

  • Two years of recruitment experience.
  • College degree strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to work under tight deadlines with limited direction.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years with an acceptable driving record per company policy; maintains auto insurance on a personal vehicle.
