Job Description
Christus Health is seeking a Recruiter I in Talent Acquisition for an onsite role in Irving, TX to handle recruiting, screening, and interviewing for professional non-nursing positions, ensure a qualified applicant pool and compliant hiring practices, and contribute to HR process development and performance improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Foster and sustain strong relationships with all hiring supervisors (directors, managers, coordinators, or leads), delivering individualized support tailored to their distinct needs, recognizing that a single process cannot satisfy every stakeholder.
- Build and maintain a robust candidate pipeline for open roles by designing, implementing, and refining an efficient recruitment program; leverage marketing and recruitment incentives to stay aligned with market trends and budget constraints.
- Oversee end-to-end hiring activities, including prescreening per TS practices, candidate pre-assessments, interview scheduling via TS workflows, and proposing incentives such as relocation or sign-on bonuses; collaborate with external recruiters for hard-to-fill roles.
- Administer Targeted Selection, ensuring hiring managers are trained in TS interviewing techniques, guides, and data integration; conduct TS interviewer training and occasionally serve as a TS interviewer.
- Act as HR Logix administrator, managing requisitions, job openings, and applicant information for assigned positions; ensure new requisitions are accurate for weekly staffing council meetings; assist in preparing and distributing the staffing council spreadsheet with the Recruiter.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with community and schools by representing CSM positively, attending career fairs, and offering support at events.
- Provide recruitment activity reports weekly or upon request, detailing hires, openings, and related metrics.
- Support other Recruitment Team members as needed, including coverage during their absence.
- Serve as a back-up orientation facilitator when required.
- Uphold confidentiality for applicants, candidates, and Associates; handle confidential information only as necessary for job duties.
- Complete additional duties assigned by the department manager or director, whether temporary or permanent.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year of recruiting experience
- Ability to manage a full desk and a substantial requisition workload
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information
