Job Description

The Recruiter I - Talent Acquisition role supports Christus Health in executing full life cycle recruitment for hospital and healthcare professionals within a corporate setting. The position handles sourcing, screening, ATS processing, interviews, offer negotiation, and onboarding, while leveraging networking and proactive outreach to identify candidates for Christus Health.

New Braunfels, TX (onsite)

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle to ensure a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
  • Proactively source qualified applicants through diverse channels, including cold outreach, ATS searches, LinkedIn, social media, job boards, and networking.
  • Lead the recruitment process for both hiring managers and applicants while maintaining direct relationships.
  • Conduct thorough telephone screenings to assess skills, experience, interest, and availability via comprehensive interviews and work history review.
  • Represent Christus Health positively by staying informed about products, history, and benefits.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers on scheduling and interview support.
  • Perform needs analysis for new requisitions to clarify job requirements and expectations.
  • Negotiate offer package details with candidates.
  • Communicate recruiting efforts and strategy to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Utilize the Applicant Tracking System to maintain accurate data records.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with hiring managers to align on recruitment status.
  • Meet or exceed Talent Acquisition service level agreement timelines.
  • Export, filter, navigate, and present data from recruitment reports in Power BI while proactively auditing data integrity.
  • Represent Christus Health in alignment with its values of dignity, excellence, stewardship, and compassion within the community while advancing the mission to extend the healing ministry of Jesus Christ.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 0-2+ years of experience in high-volume recruiting preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous HR or recruiting support experience preferred.
  • Strong communicator who can present information clearly in one-on-one and small-group settings to candidates and hiring managers.
  • Ability to manage a full desk and multiple requisitions.
  • High level of organization with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Impeccable customer relations skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
  • HR certification is a plus.
