Recruiter

Vulcan Elements is seeking a Recruiter to help run end-to-end hiring while supporting workforce planning in a fast-paced environment. This role partners closely with hiring managers and focuses on both day-to-day recruiting execution and continuous improvement using recruiting metrics and candidate feedback.

Based in Durham, NC, this onsite position requires 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.

What you will do

• Support hiring strategy by offering insight on how to scale talent recruitment efforts and reduce time to fill for critical roles
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions aligned to upcoming positions
• Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and coordinate interviews with the hiring team to evaluate qualifications and role fit
• Source candidates using internal databases, networking, and external recruiting platforms
• Maintain a positive candidate experience through clear communication and careful scheduling
• Use candidate survey data to improve talent acquisition strategy over time
• Track and analyze recruiting metrics to strengthen hiring strategies and processes in alignment with business needs

What you bring

• 4+ years of experience as a full-cycle recruiter, preferably within a fast-paced high-growth advanced manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with employment laws and regulations for the industry
• Strong interpersonal skills to connect with potential candidates
• Familiarity with applicant tracking software
• Familiarity with recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn or Indeed
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities
