Job Description

Transamerica is seeking an Early Career & Experienced Talent Recruiter in Philadelphia, PA (hybrid) with a salary range of USD 64,000 - 83,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to capture role requirements and qualification criteria.
  • Source, screen, and interview internal and external candidates to fill current or anticipated openings.
  • Review candidates' work history, education, training, and other qualifications.
  • Attend career fairs and host career days to engage candidates during intern recruiting season.
  • Develop partnerships with university career offices and faculty at target schools.
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess skills for intermediate, entry level roles, and internships.
  • Screen resumes to determine candidates who meet minimum requirements; conduct initial phone or video interviews.
  • Proactively identify and reach out to prospective candidates via traditional and creative sourcing methods including internal databases, Handshake, Simplicity, LinkedIn, Indeed, and other social channels and resume searches.
  • Qualify candidates and conduct screening calls and in-person or video interviews.
  • Inform applicants of consideration or rejection and schedule interviews for those meeting qualifications; communicate job duties, compensation and benefits, work schedule/conditions, and advancement opportunities.
  • Facilitate the offer process by extending offers and negotiating terms.
  • Plan and coordinate onsite events for finance and actuarial internship programs.
  • Manage relationships with active interns and identify full-time opportunities for graduating interns.
  • Maintain a candidate pipeline using effective sourcing strategies and explore creative recruiting methods to reach untapped markets.
  • Adhere to established recruiting and hiring processes.
  • Minimize risk by maintaining proper documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of recruiting, HR, customer service, or related experience.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.

Working Conditions

  • Hybrid position requiring up to three days in office per week at hub locations in Philadelphia and Cedar Rapids.
  • Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
  • Able to commute to the office and travel to key institutions in the Pennsylvania and Maryland region.
