Job Description
Oceans Healthcare invites applications for the Director, Talent Acquisition role, located on-site in Plano, TX. This position offers the opportunity to define and execute the talent strategy, lead field recruitment operations, and build a high-performing TA team that aligns hiring with business goals while enhancing candidate experience and strengthening the employer brand.
Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement a holistic talent acquisition strategy aligned with business goals and field workforce planning.
- Define KPIs and talent metrics to monitor performance, forecast hiring needs, and guide data-driven decisions.
- Provide strategic counsel to executive leadership on market trends, competitive insights, and TA innovations.
- Direct and mentor a robust field recruitment team; establish standards to hire recruiters who fit the culture, advise underperforming staff, and design onboarding and training for new recruiters.
- Cultivate a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement and professional development.
- Scale recruiting operations, tools, and workflows to boost efficiency and enhance candidate experience during growth.
- Optimize ATS, job boards, and recruitment tools to improve ROI and shorten time-to-fill; implement best practices for data integrity, automation, and reporting.
- Deliver data-driven insights and regular recruitment performance reports to the Vice President, Talent Acquisition.
- Own and continually improve recruiting processes, including sourcing, interviewing, selection, offer negotiation, and onboarding partnerships.
- Champion a compelling employer value proposition and collaborate with Marketing to amplify the employer brand across platforms.
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience preferred.
- Five or more years of experience leading recruitment teams and tracking performance.
- Eight or more years of recruitment experience, with healthcare experience preferred.
- Proven success delivering recruiting results in fast-paced, demanding, high-growth environments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trust with candidates and hiring managers, including navigating challenging managers and organizational dynamics.
- Team-oriented and capable of partnering with others to leverage their strengths to meet goals.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite; proficient in preparing presentations in Excel and PowerPoint; excellent written and verbal communication.
- Solid reporting experience and proficiency in building pivot tables in Excel.

Work Environment
The role involves frequent interruptions and moments of pressure from multiple inquiries. It can be high paced and demanding, requiring resilience in a dynamic setting. The position is predominantly indoors, with about 90 percent or more of time spent inside a building that offers weather protection, though temperature changes may occur.
