Job Description
This onsite contract Talent Acquisition Specialist role in Fairport, NY offers a competitive hourly rate of $30, with the potential for permanent hire based on business needs. You will lead end-to-end recruitment operations and onboarding support, collaborating with ConServe to meet corporate goals and expectations.
Responsibilities
- Support the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, references, background and conflict-of-interest checks, and onboarding to align with corporate goals.
- Engage in the employment lifecycle, including onboarding, policy knowledge, benefits administration, payroll, training and development, and exit procedures.
- Recommend and implement recruiting policies and practices to strengthen the hiring process.
- Audit applicant and employee files for compliance.
- Initiate background checks and conflict-of-interest verifications to confirm candidate eligibility.
- Create, maintain, and track advertising and promotional materials.
- Represent ConServe professionally in the community.
- Communicate with candidates, provide feedback, negotiate offers, and serve as the primary point of contact for candidates.
- Assist with new hire orientation and post-orientation follow-up.
- Create and maintain employee records in the HRIS database and ensure accurate data input.
- Generate and analyze recruitment data and reports.
- Perform general office duties such as filing, faxing, printing, scanning, emailing, and copying.
- Support the day-to-day operations of the HR Department and collaborate with all levels of management.
- Adhere to ConServe’s Blueprint Quality Management System, Code of Conduct, and Compliance Program.
Requirements
- Talent Acquisition/Recruitment background with broad knowledge of employment law, sourcing talent, compensation, organizational planning, employee relations, affirmative action plans, training, and development preferred.
- One year of HR Talent Acquisition/Recruitment experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Internet navigation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to listen, persuade, and negotiate.
- Team-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel to represent ConServe at job fairs, conferences, events, and in the community.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance.
- No conflicts of interest with ConServe or its clients.
