Construction Recruiter (Internal)

Internal Construction Recruiter role for a general contractor team in Costa Mesa, CA, focused on full-cycle recruiting and pipeline growth for fast hiring.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for construction and corporate roles
• Proactively source candidates using tools and channels including LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, industry networks, and referrals
• Build and maintain strong pipelines of both passive and active candidates
• Partner with leadership and hiring managers to align on hiring needs, staffing priorities, and role requirements
• Screen, interview, and qualify candidates for experience fit and culture alignment
• Manage candidate communication throughout the hiring process
• Track recruiting activity and pipeline metrics using ATS and recruitment tools
• Create creative sourcing strategies to attract top construction talent in competitive markets
• Attend industry events and networking opportunities as appropriate
• Support scaling recruiting processes to keep pace with aggressive company growth

Requirements

• 3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in a staffing agency, executive search firm, or construction recruiting environment
• Demonstrated success placing candidates in high-volume or fast-growth environments
• Experience recruiting construction professionals including Project Managers, Superintendents, Estimators, Project Engineers, and Safety Professionals, plus corporate staff
• Strong experience with: LinkedIn Recruiter
• Strong experience with: Indeed
• Strong experience with: ZipRecruiter
• Strong experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
• Strong experience with direct sourcing and recruiting technologies
• Hunter mentality with a strong sense of urgency
• Competitive and driven by performance-based compensation
• Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging passive candidates daily
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously
• Self-starter who can operate independently and deliver results

Compensation & On-Target Earnings

• Base Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 (yearly)
• Uncapped Commission Structure
• On-Target Earnings: $130,000 - $200,000+
